However, even during spring and autumn it is beautiful here, in spring the gardens come alive with flowers, in autumn they shine with warm colours. The pre-Christmas period has something to offer, as some castles have impressive Christmas decorations.  <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_to_get_from_the_Czech_Republic_to_the_chateaux_on_the_Loire\"><\/span>How to get from the Czech Republic to the chateaux on the Loire?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n<p>From the Czech Republic it is about 1200 km, so it is much more convenient <strong>\n  <a href=\"https:\/\/staging.loudavymkrokem.cz\/jak-na-letenky\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"54533\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">to fly by plane <\/a>\n<\/strong>to Paris, where you can rent a car. Caution if you fly to the airport <strong>\n  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.airport-orly.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" data-schema-attribute=\"mentions\">Orly<\/a>\n<\/strong>they have a limited supply of cars on the weekend. So we flew with <strong>\n  <a href=\"https:\/\/wwws.airfrance.fr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\" data-schema-attribute=\"mentions\">Air France <\/a>\n<\/strong>at <strong>\n  <a href=\"https:\/\/cs.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Charles_de_Gaulle\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" data-schema-attribute=\"mentions\">Charles de Gaulle<\/a>\n<\/strong>where you can rent and return a car at night without any problems. As always, we rented the car through <a class=\"thirstylink\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"RentalCars.com\" href=\"https:\/\/staging.loudavymkrokem.cz\/en\/doporucujeme\/rentalcars-com\/\" data-shortcode=\"true\">RentalCars<\/a>, with whom we have never had a problem (we have to knock \u263a\ufe0f).<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_7_most_beautiful_castles_on_the_Loire\"><\/span>The 7 most beautiful castles on the Loire<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n<p><strong>Unless you plan to spend several years in the Loire, it is not in your power to visit all of the 2,000 castles you will find here. <\/strong>We have therefore prepared a selection of the best ones to visit. Of course, everyone has different tastes and we all have different experiences when travelling, so not everyone has to agree with us. \ud83d\ude2c<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"1_Chambord_Castle\"><\/span>1) Chambord Castle<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n<p><strong>\n  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chambord.org\/en\/history\/the-park-of-chambord\/the-products\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\" data-schema-attribute=\"about\">Chambord Castle<\/a>\n<\/strong> is one of the most famous castles in the Loire Valley and is definitely worth a visit. Ideally, head here first thing in the morning and if you don&#8217;t want to wait in a long queue for tickets, buy them in advance, for example <strong>through the reliable <a class=\"thirstylink\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"GetYourGuide\" href=\"https:\/\/staging.loudavymkrokem.cz\/en\/doporucujeme\/getyourguide\/\" data-shortcode=\"true\">GetYourGuide<\/a> portal<\/strong>, which we recommended in <strong>\n  <a href=\"https:\/\/staging.loudavymkrokem.cz\/co-videt-v-rime\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"57890\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Rome<\/a>\n<\/strong> (the Italian system didn&#8217;t work, but <a class=\"thirstylink\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"GetYourGuide\" href=\"https:\/\/staging.loudavymkrokem.cz\/en\/doporucujeme\/getyourguide\/\" data-shortcode=\"true\">GetYourGuide<\/a> did, thankfully) and in <strong>\n  <a href=\"https:\/\/staging.loudavymkrokem.cz\/seville-pruvodce-andalusii\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"58888\">Seville<\/a>\n<\/strong> (we didn&#8217;t have to wait in a queue for several hours),  <\/p>\n\n<p><strong>The castle was built as a hunting lodge for Francis I and is known for its magnificent Renaissance architecture.  <\/strong>The local fascinating two-storey spiral staircase is said to have been designed by Leonardo da Vinci himself.  <\/p>\n\n<p>The castle is huge, but even if you get bored of the interiors, climb to the top for a spectacular view of the castle and gardens.  <\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"700\" height=\"467\" src=\"https:\/\/staging.loudavymkrokem.cz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/zamek-chambord-700x467.jpg\" alt=\"Chambord Castle is one of the most famous castles in the Loire Valley and is definitely worth a visit.
